This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. the location next to the beautiful lake provided a stunning backdrop for my stay. The large windows in the rooms allowed me to fully appreciate the breathtaking view of the fjord. Secondly, the staff at this hotel were incredibly attentive and friendly. Benjamin, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Lastly, the rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom that had obviously been recently refurbished. Oh, and did I mention that breakfast was included? The wide range of options, including different types of jam, cheese, meat, and fresh fruit.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were more than satisfactory.

We had a delightful stay at a charming hotel with a rich history. The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our room had a lovely view of the lake, and we enjoyed watching the sunset from our window. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel even arranged for our motorbikes to be stored safely away from the street. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the front desk calling us in advance to inform us about the limited dinner options due to our late arrival. Despite being an older hotel, the rooms were well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The recently refurbished bathrooms were a nice touch. The breakfast was perfect, with a wide range of options including different types of jams, cheeses, meats, fish, and fresh fruit. we had a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
While there were a few minor drawbacks such as the limited dinner choices and the menu not being in English, they did not significantly impact our stay. The hotel could benefit from some updates and improvements, particularly in terms of the carpeting and power socket placement.

The view from our room was stunning, overlooking a peaceful lake that was just mesmerizing. The hotel staff was helpful and polite, making sure we had everything we needed. They offered a wide range of breakfast options, including delicious fresh fruit and different types of cheese and jams. The hotel's location was ideal, easy to find, and close to various activities and attractions that made our stay even more enjoyable.
Although everything looked great, our room lacked air conditioning which made it uncomfortable to sleep, especially during warm nights. Our room was noisy, and we could hear other guests talking in their rooms. It was not the peaceful atmosphere we had expected. Also, the restaurant's food quality was not consistent, with some dishes being undercooked or overcooked, which was not pleasant.
